Location

Located at the Mater Hospital's Annerley Road Campus in South Brisbane, the Queensland Eye Institute is Queensland's only academic eye institute. Our building is a multi-storey brick building on the corner of Annerley Road and Clarence Street. We are diagonally opposite the Hotel Diana and the Princess Plaza shops. If you are travelling by bus you will need to disembark at the Clarence Street stop No 7 (both inbound and outbound). The closest train station is Southbank station - about a 15 minute walk. There are parking meters in Clarence Street that accept $1 and $2 coins. You can park in these spots for up to 11 hours. There are also some parking spaces in the surrounding streets that do not have meters but you can only stay in these for up to two hours. There is an undercover parking station at the Princess Plaza shops across the road that charges by the hour. If you are being dropped off there is a taxi and patient pick up/drop off point at the front of our building.
